Motion starts as empty space
Print-in-place objects depend on controlled gaps. Too little clearance fuses a joint; too much makes it feel loose. We build tolerances as a system, not a guess.
One model, many machines
Calibration differs between printers and materials, so our articulated files include tolerance notes and compact test pieces. A five-minute test can save an entire failed build.
Useful movement
Articulation should add expression, function, or both. If a joint adds only complexity, it does not survive the edit.
